This Privacy Policy explains how Caship Consumer Networks Pvt. Ltd. ("Caship", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information across the Caship platform, including our website, mobile apps, and the internal Caship Console used by our team.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with Caship, we may collect: account details you provide (name, email, phone), transaction and rewards-activity data, and technical information such as device and log data needed to operate the service securely.

2. Google account access (Caship Console)

The Caship Console — our internal back-office tool, used only by Caship employees — offers an optional "Connect Gmail" feature so a team member can send and receive email from within the Console using their own Google account. If an employee chooses to connect their Gmail account:

• We request permission to read and send email only from that employee's own mailbox, and only after they explicitly sign in with Google and approve the request.
• This access is used solely to display that employee's inbox and send messages inside the Console — it is never used for any other purpose, and email content is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
• An employee can disconnect this access at any time from within the Console, which immediately revokes our access to their mailbox.
• Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. How we use information

We use collected information to operate and improve Caship's services, process transactions and rewards, communicate with users about their accounts, and maintain the security of our platform.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate Caship (for example, cloud hosting and payment processing), each bound to protect it, and where required by law.

5. Data retention & security

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, and we use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encryption of sensitive fields — to protect it.

6. Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and — where applicable — withdraw a previously granted permission (such as a connected Google account), by contacting us below.

7. Enrolment requests (employees and vendors)

If you submit an enrolment request on this website to join Caship as an employee or to register as a vendor, we collect the details you enter in the form — for an employee, your name, contact details, Caship ProCo, department, designation and preferred location; for a vendor, the business name, GST and PAN details, contact person and payment terms. We use this information only to review and process your request, to contact you about it and, if it is approved, to create your record and grant access to the Caship Console. Only authorised Caship administrators can view it. We keep it only as long as needed for that purpose or as required by law, and you can ask us to correct or delete it by contacting us below.

The forms also let you attach supporting documents — for an employee, a photo ID (PAN or Aadhaar) and a resume; for a vendor, a GST certificate, PAN card and a cancelled cheque or bank proof. Attaching them is optional. Uploaded files are stored privately, are visible only to authorised Caship administrators, and are used only to review your request. If a request is rejected, its files are deleted automatically after 90 days; if it is approved, they are kept on the resulting record.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
